What I Wore: Port Vell, BCN

6

Port Vell was one of my favorite spots in Barcelona. It was really chilly, but I was determined to make a vaguely nautical outfit work for our time walking around the pier (and later going on a boat ride around the harbor!). I bought this enormous grey knit scarf (€12,95) and slim khakis (€11,95) at Zara on one of our first days here and they more or less became part of my uniform for the remainder of the trip.

the architecture, landscape, sights and food of barcelona were beyond words. I had an amazing time and hope to return one day!

Polyvore

If you’ve been following this blog for even a little while, you’ll notice that I am slightly obsessed with Polyvore.com.

Okay, perhaps more than slightly.

In a nutshell, Polyvore is your internet-wide shopping list. I use it to collect and organize clothing, shoes, accessories and jewelry – really anything that catches my eye online. Using the Polyvore clipper, it’s beyond easy to create a giant wishlist and stalk things as they go on sale. The best part is that even once the items are out of stock, it’s still possible to view the photos, titles and information about each product so that you can look on eBay, etc. The easiest way to track down items you want is by searching for the style name, and Polyvore saves all of that information for you.

Once you’ve clipped items you like (or used Polyvore’s search function to save items other people have clipped), you can view everything by going to “My Items”. If you want to get fancy, you can create collages and sets of your items!

Polyvore also features a following/followers function, where you can see what your favorite users are clipping and collaging. Enjoy!
